Boxwood Garden
Off the back of the estate is a maze of boxwoods which provides a picturesque setting for bridal, anniversary and family portraits.

Perennial Garden
The perennial garden is a walled garden with a plethora of perennials and seasonal flowers. This is a memorable setting for an outdoor wedding and can accommodate up to 150 people. The garden is located close to the tented terrace of the estate and bordering the rose garden.

Rose Garden
What an ideal setting for bridal photographs! The rose garden borders a small lily pond, and the heady aroma of colorful roses fills the air. There is an iron arbor and natural tree arbors in the rose garden. This could also be a perfect setting for a very small, intimate wedding ceremony.

Woodland Garden
For outdoor wedding ceremonies, this is the best of both worlds! The setting is lush and fertile with green lawn, ferns, hostas, mature trees and plantings and the soothing sound of a small waterfall cascading into graduated ponds. Under the shade of a Norway Pine, White Willow and Red Oak, this setting can accommodate a small, medium or large wedding of up to 250 people; it would also be ideal for the reverence of a memorial service. The location of the Woodland Garden is next to the estate, steps away from the terrace and indoors. The setting is tranquil with Appleford’s resident ducks gliding across the ponds. The bridal party can also make a striking approach from the estate to the lawn for the ceremony.

Tented Terrace
The Tented Terrace can comfortably accommodate 200 guests from April through November while enjoying the wonderful atmosphere of the terrace of Appleford.



Also included in the rental of the facility is a three room bridal suite available for two hours prior to the wedding ceremony for the dressing of the bride. A charming groom’s room and bath are also available.
