Pricing Structure: The Appleford Terrace is tented from April-November (possibly into the first weekend of December weather permitting)

April through November the rental fee includes: use of the inside of the house, the tent and terrace, the built-in dance floor, wedding ceremony as long as the reception is held at Appleford, 34 tables, 5 hour rental, 2 additional hours for use of the groom’s room and bride’s suite, sound system for the terrace and 24 acres for photographs.

Corporate rates/business usage/non-profits Monday-Thursday $350-4000; Garden Clubs $100-300

In addition to the rental fees, the following is also required by Appleford:

$2000 security deposit which is refunded after your wedding/event as long as the following does not occur:  cancellation, damage, unscheduled overtime, etc. Consult your contract for details. Proof of personal liability insurance in the amount of $1MM. Additional charges: Valet parking for parties in excess of 150 guests and heat for the tent in the cooler months. 

Rental Conditions:

Clients must choose from the exclusive list of Appleford's caterers and musicians.

For amplified music, all musicians, djs and iPods must connect to the Appleford sound system.  The music is zoned on the terrace so that it is louder on the dance floor and more subtle where guests are seated.

Appleford holds one event per day and the rental is for up to 5 hours.  There is a daily curfew of 10:00 pm and 9:00 pm on Sundays.

As part of the Lower Merion Park system, Appleford is a non-smoking property. Lower Merion Township Code  Chapter 109, Parks and Rec, Section 109-4.1.

No sparklers, luminaries or pyrotechnics are permitted. Nothing is to be thrown on the grounds, i.e. bird seed, flower petals, confetti, etc.

The serving of alcohol ceases 30 minutes prior to the contracted conclusion of the event.
